Last time I went back to Indonesia was for an amazing opportunity to have my first fashion show in Jogja Fashion Week 2013. When I thought about the promotional photo shoot, I wasn't sure who the photographer should be because I was relatively new to the industry, and I wanted to find the perfect person who knew the right angles and understood the details of my collection. I'd been looking on Instagram when I found Afida Sukma, who is very talented, bubbly and has this crazy skill of taking amazing photos.
I decided to contact her and we had a long discussion about the concept that I wanted to pursue for this special campaign. I wanted to explore the beauty and the richness of the fabric, and represent my heritage as a Javanese girl by having a model who had a dance background, so she could move graciously to capture the essence of this collection. Voila - here are the campaign photos! I was so happy with the whole process, and I am especially proud of the results.
